The Rev. Graham White
Graham was born and lived in East Sussex and Hampshire as a boy. He first heard that
Jesus loved him when he was twelve years old at a summer camp run by the local Brethren
Assembly. His decision to accept and trust Jesus as his Saviour came about six months
later at an Eric Hutchins Crusade in Brighton in January 1963.He joined the Army at
fifteen and served for fourteen years, two as a boy soldier and twelve in the Military
Police, in places such as Germany, Northern Ireland, Belgium and Cyprus. He left the Army
in 1979 and joined the MoD Police. In 1989 Graham went to the Scottish Baptist College
where he trained for the Baptist Ministry - one of his lecturers being Dr. Edward Burrows.
Graham was ordained by Dr. Burrows at Dumbarton Baptist Church where he had been a
member for nine years. He was called to the Pastorate of Clydebank Baptist Church in
October 1996.
Graham is married to Pearl, who has recently studied for and gained an MA(Honours)
at Glasgow University. They have two children, Peter and Katie.
