NEW CHURCH HALL

This is the FIRST Newsletter following the recent Church Meeting on the 22^nd September.

The Meeting was well attended and confirmed its commitment and enthusiasm for building a new Church Hall.

The Meeting also agreed that, although much effort had been put into raising the £70,000 to date, it was time to lift our sights, set some targets, involve a wider group of people and keep everyone regularly up to date with what was happening.

This newsletter is one of the means by which we will keep you informed.

Here are some interesting facts:

• The existing Church Hall was built in 1971 with an expected life of 25 years
• We have raised £70,000 with our own efforts over a 10 year period
• The Church premises are used by 12 organisations involving over 250 people
• The total building cost of a new Hall is now £318,000

Here is what we intend to do inthe short term:

• Produce a funding and building programme with target dates
• Write a Business Plan (need for external funding)
• Meet all organisational leaders
• Produce promotional material
• Produce regular updates on progress
