March 2008

Welcome to our first service in March as we celebrate Mothers Day.

Thanks to all who supported the Building Project Table Top Sale and Coffee Morning, which raised £408.90.

Can I remind you of the Church A.G.M. which is on Thursday 6th March at 7.30. Agendas are available.

You may recall the invitations we gave to friends and family at Christmas, well we have some available to invite them to our Easter Services. They will be available in the vestibule.

The following is a letter that Alan Brown asked to be included in the newsletter.

To our Brothers and Sisters in the Lord Jesus Christ - Myself and Audrey, Allyson and Cheryl and the families, we want to say thank you to everyone for the kindness and support to us in our time of loss through the passing of Sylvia who has gone to be with the Lord.

Special thanks go to Graham for his support at this time and for the wonderful Service at the Church and Crematorium. Special thanks also to Dawn for the following reception including all those who were helping.

Sylvia is already a great loss to us all and our grief is hard to bear, but we thank the Lord for all our friends, both in and outside the Church.

Finally we thank you for the donations for St. Claire's Hospice. The total amount raised was £372.40 which has been passed onto them and acknowledged in a letter to me on the 8th February.
