The Church Christian Aid collection this year raised £165.11. Thanks to Joan and Ian Taylor and Pearl who did a door to door collection and raised £141.76. I have sent off £306.87 to Christian Aid. Thanls to all who donated toward this worthy cause.

Today is the last opportunity to give items to Denise for the Summer magazine.

The Friendly Circle are off on holiday this week. We wish them all a relaxing and enjoyable time.

The South Tyneside branch of Gideons International are holding their "Friends Evening" on Thursday 21st at 7.30 here at the Tabernacle.

Sunday 24th June is the NBA Exchange Pulpit Sunday. We will welcome David Taylor from Headland Baptist Church to the morning service and Rev. Phil Dixon, minister at Redcar to the evening service.

The June Interim Church Meeting will be held on Thursday 28th June at 7.30pm. Items for Any Other Business need to be given to me by Sunday 24th June.

The church is once againhaving a stall at the Catherine Cookson Festival in the Bents Park on Saturday 7th July. Good quality soft toys or items suitable for a tombola can be handled either to Dawn or Denise. Proceeds will go to the Raise The Roof fund.

Joan Taylor is organising a Strawberry Tea in the Church on Saturday 14th July in aid of Raise The Roof. More details in the coming weeks.
