On Thursday 5th May the Church will be utilised as a polling station for the General Election. The church will be open from 7.00am to 10.00pm during which time a vast amount of people will be using our premises, some may not have been before and some will not even know that is a Church. I will be placing copies of the Church "Welcome Pack" in the vestibule to let people know who we are.

There is a Building Fund Coffee Morning on the 14th May 9.30 - 11.30am

Sunday 15th May is Pentecost Sunday and we are hosting the joint evening service with Holy Rosary and St. Lawrence.

Christian Aid Week this year is 15th-21st May. Have you noticed the poster in the Church?
As normal we will hold a congregation collection, envelopes will be available on the 15th and can be placed in the offering bags on the 15th/22nd. I am also looking for door to door collectors, if you can offer your services for this good cause please speak to me.

Remember that our Gift Day is on the 12th June and we are looking forward to a time of fellowship with Abel Rees.

On the 25th June Maurice Matheson will be ordained as a Baptist Minister. As Maurice's home Church, we will be hosting the service and the Rev. Richard Kidd from Northern Baptist College will lead with Rev. John Claydon, Regional Minister, conducting the act of Ordination.

We are planning a Youth Alpha programme in the coming months and have invited John Hawkshead, the regional Alpha rep to a meeting arranged for 9th May at 7.30pm. If you want to know more then please feel free to attend the meeting.
