On Monday 6th June there is a meeting to discuss the Alpha course,
held in the church.
There is an Interim Church Meeting on Thursday 16th June, agendas will be available
on Sunday 12th.
On the 23rd June there will be a Blood Donor Session held in the church.
The weekend of the 25th/26th June sees the Ordination of Maurice
Matheson on the Saturday afternoon. More information will be given in the next
couple of weeks.
On the Sunday it is the NBA Pulpit Exchange. In the morning we welcome Rev. Jeremy
Shaw, assistant minister at
Stockton Tabernacle,
and in the evening Roy Merrin from
Grange Road Baptist, Jarrow.
We are arranging a Church Day Out on the 17th July. Following the morning service we will have a short journey to Herrington Burn Park - at the foot of Penshaw Monument. Lunch and a time of fellowship will be enjoyed. A warm welcome is given to all.
We are also looking to hold a "Friends Tea" sometime in September. The idea is to invite someone to the Church who was or still is connected with the Church, and have the opportunity to catch up on old times. I would like to invite people by letter and I am therefore asking you to provide me with names and addresses of people you would like to invite. Please could I ask that you give me the information by 24th July.
Items for the next issue of Church Magazine are to be handed to Denise by 12th June.
