Sold at Last!!!The sale of the land next to the vestry was completed on 30th April. The monies received from the sale will go towards replacing the current extension. However as the money is in trust with the Baptist Union it cannot be placed into our own account until work on the new extension commences.
The South Tyne Group of Baptist Churches has a new link missionary from the Baptist Missionary Society. Her name is Margaret Gibbs and she is based in Albania. Margaret is in the area at the moment and will be joining us at the morning service on 9th May.
Thanks to all who attended the Vision Meeting last Tuesday. If you were not able to attend then make a date in your diary for a follow-up meeting which is arranged for Tuesday 25th May at 7.30pm in the main church building. Ideas presented to the meeting and also suggested from those present can be found on the notice board in the schoolroom.
Sunday 30th May is Pentecost Sunday, and we will be hosting a joint evening service at 6.00pm when we will be joined by friends from The Holy Rosary and St. Lawrence.
Christian Aid Week is 9th-15th May. If you would like to do door to door collection please place your name on the list in the schoolroom. If you would like to give a donation please take one of the envelopes and place it in the offering bag on Sunday 9th or the 16th May.
