With holidays behind us and the start of the Autumn season, where is the year going?

The Building Fund Committee has organised the following events:-

20th September 9.30 - 11.30 a.m. COFFEE MORNING

18th October 9.30 - 11.30 a.m. TABLE TOP SALE/COFFEE MORNING

We will celebrate Harvest on the 4/5th October. There will be a Harvest Supper on the Saturday evening from 7 - 9 p.m. with soup and hot dogs. The proceeds will go to the Building Fund. Our Harvest produce this year will once again go to the Salvation Army food appeal. We have been asked if we could give standard size tins of any of the following:-

Corned Beef
Luncheon Meat
Hot Dogs
Meatballs
Mince
Rice Pudding

These will be distributed by the Salvation Army to the homeless and needy in South Shields and the surrounding area.

We will also be supporting the BMS Harvest Appeal - literature on this will be available from Alan Turnbull.

Don't forget to give your items for the Harvest edition of the Church magazine to Denise by 21st September.
