October 2003
Welcome to our harvest services, we are supporting two projects this year. The first is The Salvation Army Homeless Appeal and all the tins provided for our Church display will be donated to the appeal. We are also supporting the BMS World Mission Harvest Appeal 2003 called More Than Survivors. Your Gift will help BMS World Mission to make a positive difference for poor and marginalised people in Brazil and around the world.
Please remember Satuday 11th October which is the Church Prayer Day.
The Church will be open between 10.00am and 4.00pm. Graham and the Deacons will be leading
prayers as well as giving people the opportunity to take part in open prayer or personal
prayer. Please feel free to come along any time and stay for as long as you wish.
Please mark in your diaries the 16th October 7.30pm. This is an Interim Church Meeting postponed from September.
Saturday 18th October at 9.30am is a building Fund Coffee Morning and Table Top Sale. The last sale was very successful and all of the tables have now been taken for the event. Please tell your friends, relatives and neighbours about the event.
The following Thursday 23rd October 7.30pm there is a Special Church Meeting to be held to discuss further the Extension Building Project. We will be joined by Mr. Frank Harrison the architect.
Graham is starting enquirers classes if you would like to attend or know more about them please speak to Graham.
