With this being right in the middle of the holiday season, I hope those who have been on holiday have been refreshed and those going in the next few weeks will have a relaxing and enjoyable time.

During the holidays we have a team of young people coming down from Scotland to lead the Step-out mission from Monday 18th August to Sunday 24th August. They will be leading the Children's Holiday Club in the mornings and activities for teenagers in the evenings. Please pray for these activities and the leaders.

Thank you to all who gave to the recent Gift Day which will be used for decoration and for re-pointing of the gable-end of the manse.

At the Special Church Meeting, held on July 28th, it was agreed that we proceed with the building project to replace the extension building. The architect who designed the sketches for the proposed design is to be invited to meet with the Building Fund committee and give us a more in depth plan.

We received some sad news last week when we learnt of the death of Jack Bays, Secretary of Westoe Road Baptist Church. Remember his wife Betty and the Church in your prayers.
