Minister accepts call to the pastorate
| At the Special Church Meeting held on Sunday 1st Sept. it was the unanimous vote of those present that the Rev. Graham White be called to the fellowship as their minister. Graham was contacted on the Sunday afternoon and he immediately accepted the calling. |
I am sure that the above headline is the news that we have all been waiting for during the past two years. Although the Church has not seen many prospective Ministers, the Diaconate have received numerous names from the Area Superintendant (old title) and have interviewed at least 5 ministers. We always said that God in His time would send us the person that he had set aside for his people at Marsden Road and I am sure you will agree that is the case with Graham. An Induction Service for Graham will be held in early January which will also be the commencement of his ministry. There will be a lot of arranging and planning to take place before then - watch this space for more information.
