The interim June Church Meeting will discuss the Pastoral vacancy, and will be held on Thursday 14th June at 7.30 pm.
The Church Gift Day is held on Sunday 17th June and the morning service will be conducted by Rev Ernie Whalley (Northern Area Superintendent). Gifts received will be given to the Extension Building Fund. If you would like to Gift Aid your donation, as long as you pay income tax, the church could receive an additional 28p for every pound given. Please speak to Brenda who will be able to help you - there are no long winded forms etc. to complete.
The Extension Fund will also be an important item to be discussed at the Church Meeting as we need to take the project to the next stage - a business plan and a feasability study. These will enable us to obtain grants.
Dates for future coffee mornings are 16th June, 14th July, 15th Sept, 13th Oct and 17th Nov. Each one will include a time of prayer in the Church.
Thanks to the door to door collectors and those who gave personal gifts during Christian Aid Week. The total received was £170.00
Items for the next Church magazine should be handed to Denise by 15th June
The Sunday Club are organising a sponsored walk on Saturday 23rd June in aid of the Building Fund. Children will be looking for sponsors, please support them. If any adults would like to join in the event, they would be welcome. Listen to the weekly notices for more info.
A meeting has been arranged for Tuesday 12th June at 7.30 to discuss possible ways of encouraging organisations to hold joint events to which people who do not attend the fellowship could be invited. If you could offer support in this initiative please feel free to attend the meeting. Abel Rees will be leading the meeting.
